Max Strus to return to Cavs’ lineup on Wednesday night vs. Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Cavs are finally getting closer to full strength.

Sources tell cleveland.com that sharpshooter Max Strus will make his return on Wednesday night against the Charlotte Hornets.

Strus, who has missed the last 12 games because of a knee strain suffered late in the March 3 loss against rival New York, has been working his way back from this injury over the last week. After a series of one-on-one workouts and then some recent increased physical activity, Strus participated in Wednesday’s shootaround without issue, getting clearance to play.

Sources say Strus — who is going to step back into the starting group, moving Caris LeVert to his usual sixth man role — will be on a minute restriction, with a plan to keep him between 20 and 25 minutes.
