Marvin Williams Suffers Broken Finger, “Good Chance” to Play in Season Opener

According to the Charlotte Hornets’ team, Marvin Williams has suffered a broken left middle finger and is out for the remainder of the preseason. The injury will keep him out for some time but Steve Clifford says that the power forward has a “good chance” to play in the regular season opener. Although his status is still unknown, the injury doesn’t seem to be a major one.

Williams originally suffered the injury during the team’s preseason game against the Chicago Bulls. He left the game in the first half and had x-rays at halftime but he was only diagnosed with a left middle finger sprain at the time.
