Rookie Kon Knueppel stuffed the stat sheet on Thursday, leading the Charlotte Hornets to a spot in the semifinals of the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Knueppel produced 19 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals in a 106-81 victory over the San Antonio Spurs at the Thomas & Mack Center. He went 7 of 13 from the field, including 3 of 8 from 3-point range, and was a plus-26 in 29 minutes on the court.
The fourth pick scored 11 points in the first half to help build a 56-34 lead at the intermission for the Hornets (4-0).
