As time has passed, Kon Knueppel has continued to establish himself as a leader with the Charlotte Hornets. His even-keeled reaction to Tidjane Salaun's career night only proved that more.
Friday saw the Hornets defeat the Toronto Raptors for the second time in six days. Interestingly, they would be just two games behind the Eastern Conference-leading Detroit Pistons had they not been upset by Charlotte twice.
Salaun was key in the second victory, finally breaching the 20-point mark by scoring 21 on 6-8 shooting from the field and 5-6 from the 3-point area.
However, as Knueppel mentioned, the French forward's point total was hardly his most noteworthy contribution to the Hornets' incredible win.
