Kansas State basketball represented by five former players on NBA Summer League rosters

Xavier Sneed, one of five former Kansas State basketball players represented this month on NBA Summer League rosters, became the first ex-Wildcat to see action on Wednesday when he played 17 minutes for the Charlotte Hornets in Sacramento, California.

Sneed, who played for the Wildcats from 2016-20, scored four points and grabbed two rebounds with one assist in the Hornets' 98-83 loss to the Golden State Warriors. He did not play in the team's first game on Monday against San Antonio.

Forward Keyontae Johnson, a second-round pick by Oklahoma City in last month's NBA Draft, missed the Thunder's two games in Salt Lake City on Monday and Wednesday with a right hamstring strain.
