It’s time for the San Antonio Spurs vs. Charlotte Hornets

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

After what can be considered a successful (if up-and-down) five-game road trip, the San Antonio Spurs are back at home for a franchise record NINE straight games, beginning tonight with the Charlotte Hornets. While Michael Jordon’s club will be without Rookie of the Year candidate LaMelo Ball for the rest of the season after he unfortunately suffered a fractured wrist Saturday against the Clippers, the Spurs will be as close as they’ve been to completely healthy all season, with Kieta Bates-Diop (hamstring) being the only injury holdout.
