The Hornets will take a break from playing NBA hopefuls to take on the Chinese national team that’s using the summer league as an opportunity to prepare themselves for the basketball World Cup later this year.
The Hornets are coming off a tough loss to the Spurs on Sunday afternoon. They played well for spurts, but the Spurs ended each of the last three quarters with significant runs, and the Hornets weren’t able to overcome them.
