The Charlotte Hornets are crossing the halfway point of their preseason schedule as they’ll play “host” to the Philadelphia 76ers in a neutral site game at Wake Forest University beginning tonight at 7:30 PM EST in Winston Salem, NC.
It was an underwhelming defensive performance for the Hornets two days ago as they allowed the Miami Heat to shoot 40.5% from three (15-of-37) and 63.4% in the paint. Head Coach James Borrego knows this area will take some time to come around, and hopefully, the team can show some significant strides against a tough 76ers squad.
“The [made shots] that concern me are the ones [that] are easy stuff at the rim,” said Borrego after the Miami game.
