CHARLOTTE, N.C. — NBA veteran Spencer Dinwiddie has signed a one-year deal to join the Charlotte Hornets as the team continues to build its new roster, a source confirmed to WCNC Charlotte's Nick Carboni.
The signing was first reported by ESPN's Shams Charania. Dinwiddie comes to Charlotte after spending last season with the Dallas Mavericks. The 12-year pro averaged 14 points per game as a starter in 30 games last season.
