It's been an impressive summer league for Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel, who recently suffered an injury scare but has largely looked the part of being the number four overall pick in the draft. Charlotte is desperately hoping that this is the year they will finally take a step forward as a franchise after years of being stuck in the NBA cellar.
Recently, Knueppel participated in an interview with journalist Taylor Rooks, and during the interview, Rooks showed him a personalized video from Dallas Mavericks shooting guard and future Hall of Famer Klay Thompson, whom Knueppel says he has modeled his game after.
