December 4, 2019 – Charlotte Hornets President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Mitch Kupchak announced today that the team has recalled guard Cody Martin from the Greensboro Swarm, the team’s NBA G League affiliate.
Cody Martin rejoins the Hornets after appearing in three games with the Swarm where he averaged 14.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 34.3 minutes per game. The rookie guard has appeared in 16 contests with the Hornets this season where he has averaged 2.9 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 11.8 minutes per game. Martin was selected by the Charlotte Hornets with the 36th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
