Hornets re-sign Tre Mann on three year deal

According to reports, the Charlotte Hornets are bringing back Tre Mann on a three year deal worth $24 million total. That’s $8 million per year if you don’t want to do the math.

There’s been a lot of handwringing about Mann’s status given that the team didn’t extend him a qualifying offer and acquired a couple of guards in the last few days in Collin Sexton and Pat Connaughton. However, general manager Jeff Peterson said in his first round press conference that he fully expected Mann to be back. It turns out he held true to his word.
