CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — The Charlotte Hornets will be away from the Queen City and play the reigning NBA champions twice in the preseason this year.
The team announced their five-game schedule Tuesday ahead of 2025-26 season, with its two “home” games being played in Greensboro and North Charleston, South Carolina, due to renovations at the Spectrum Center.
Coming off a Summer League championship, the Hornets will tip off the preseason by hosting MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder at the North Charleston Coliseum on Oct. 5. They then travel to OKC on Oct.
