Hornets Fall To Bucks in opener, 113-112

Despite Kemba Walker’s All-Star caliber 41 point performance, the Charlotte Hornets lost to the Bucks, 113-112, after Nicolas Batum’s attempt at a game-winning shot did not fall.

The Milwaukee Bucks started the game quickly Wednesday night, outscoring the Hornets 36-23 in the first quarter. It was quarter the Bucks dominated, however. The teams split the second quarter, each scoring 31 points. From there, Charlotte outscored Milwaukee 29-26 in the third and 29-20 in the fourth.

The best Hornet on the floor Wednesday night was Kemba Walker, who, as mentioned previously, scored 41 points.
