Hornets drop third straight game to Lakers, 110-99

On Saturday night, the Charlotte Hornets continued their losing skid, dropping their third straight game to the Lakers, 110-99. In the second game in a home back-to-back, Charlotte looked abysmal.

The game started out well for the Hornets, as they took an early lead, 29-28, to end the first quarter. This pace continued, as Charlotte lead at halftime 56-52, and into the third quarter. Then, the typical Hornet's fourth quarter happened. The Lakers outscored Charlotte by ten points in the final period of play.

To lead the team, Dwight Howard had an impressive performance.
