Kaminsky spoke on his decision to undergo surgery, his recovery, and what he’s been up to this offseason.

Frank Kaminsky is still dealing with “some aches and pains” as a result of a surgical procedure he had done back in July, the Charlotte Hornets’ big man said in a video on NBA.com. Kaminsky underwent surgery to repair an air pocket in his lung, and was initially expected to miss about six weeks of time.

Minor pain isn’t out of the norm for a procedure like this. We’re about seven weeks removed from his surgery, and assuming all goes well he’s right on track with his recovery and should be ready to go come October.
