The Hornets rookie is going to miss summer league as he recovers from a minor surgical procedure.
Frank Kaminsky will undergo a minor surgical procedure this week and will not play for the Charlotte Hornets in the Orlando Summer League, the team announced earlier today. His recovery is expected to take about six weeks.
Kaminksy will have a small pocket of air in his chest repaired on Wednesday, according to the team. I'm not exactly sure how one ends up with a pocket of air in their chest, but that does sound worrisome so it's great that he's getting this looked at it, especially as the surgery isn't all that invasive.
