According to NewsObserver.com, “He [Torin Dorn] had a workout with the Charlotte Hornets, along with North Carolina star Luke Maye.” The two players had a private workout with the Queen City team. Both have already decided to return to school for their Senior campaigns.
Dorn and Maye tested the NBA waters this summer. They didn’t hire an agent but wanted to get feedback from teams before making a final decision. Luke also worked out for the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Atlanta Hawks.
Because they didn’t hire agents, both players were allowed to workout for teams but have the option to return to college.
