While the Charlotte Hornets wait for training camp to start, the team has a chance to watch some of their players play overseas. One player who has been playing well as of late for his national team is Willy Hernangomez.
Hernangomez is currently pursuing a FIBA title with Spain, and he is coming off a victory where he scored 24 points and went 10/10 on two-point field goals against the Congo.
Currently, Hernangomez’s FIBA team is ranked #2 in the world’s rankings and is the #1 team for their respected zone. Spain’s FIBA team also consists of players like Marc Gasol, Juan Hernangomez, and Ricky Rubio.
