October 19, 2019 – Charlotte Hornets President of Basketball Operations & General Manager Mitch Kupchak announced today that the team has waived guard Ahmed Hill.
Hill joined the Hornets as an undrafted free agent on Sept. 4. The Virginia Tech product appeared in four preseason games for the Hornets averaging 1.8 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.3 assists in 5.7 minutes per game. The Augusta, Georgia native averaged 11.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game over 134 appearances in his four-year career as a Hokie.
After waiving Hill, the Hornets roster stands at 18 players.
