According to Clevis Murray of The Athletic, Tyler Nelson will workout for the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday (June 10th). He has already met with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics will host him on Saturday (June 9th). The 22-year old was one of the top scorers in college basketball this past year.
Tyler is projected to be either a second-round pick or go undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft. Charlotte currently holds one second-round pick this year at the tail end of the draft. (No. 55) If he goes undrafted, the Hornets could always add him to their summer league team or sign him as an undrafted free agent.
