According to Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders, the “Hornets will bring in former Georgia guard J.J. Frazier as part of a free agent workout group this week.” Donald Sloan and Norris Cole are also going to workout for the Charlotte Hornets. They will each be auditioning for a potential spot as the team’s third string point guard next season.
Charlotte doesn’t seem to be sold on Briante Weber as their emergency point guard and they could waive him without consequence before August 1st (when his contract becomes fully guaranteed).
