According to news sources in the Queen City, the Charlotte Hornets‘ team store was broken into and looted during protests. The team store is located at the Spectrum Arena where the team plays. Windows of the store were broken into and it appears as though multiple things were stolen.
The protests in downtown Charlotte broke out following the death of Keith Lamont Scott after he was killed by police. The protests started as peaceful but it seems as if a few bad apples turned things violent and started doing things for their own personal gain such as break into the Hornets’ team store.
