As we approach the 2015 NBA offseason, it is clear that Charlotte needs to make some changes. With limited assets and options, this summer the Charlotte Hornets should contact the Nets and revisit the Brooklyn trade.
Months ago it seemed like Charlotte was on the verge of a major trade. The basics of it was the Charlotte would trade Gerald Henderson, Lance Stephenson, and Marvin Williams to the Brooklyn Nets for Joe Johnson. At the time, I was on the fence, leaning toward no. Now, months later, after another missed playoffs for the Charlotte franchise, I feel the Hornets should see if Brooklyn still has some interest.
