Charlotte Hornets Rumors: Team Unlikely to Re-Sign Jeremy Lin in Free Agency

Chris Broussard of ESPN has reported that the Charlotte Hornets are “unlilkey to have space to sign Jeremy Lin after other priorities.” Broussard also said that the team “would like to re-sign Jeremy Lin but are fearful of losing the point guard.” Lin is set to be an unrestricted free agency this summer.

Jeremy signed with the Hornets last offseason on a two-year deal with a player option for the second year. That deal was worth only $4.3 million over the two seasons. Lin officially declined his player option on July 22nd when the deadline to accept it passed.
