The Charlotte Hornets front office did not exchange any transactions before the trade deadline passed in this 2019-2020 NBA season; that is not exactly a bad thing.
I believe that the front office would have made a move if they felt like they had the opportunity to make a trade that would benefit the organization moving forward. Since that opportunity did not open up, I am happier to have made no move than a bad move.
Take, for example, the alleged talked about trade package that would have sent Julius Randle, Dennis Smith Jr to Charlotte in exchange for Terry Rozier and Malik Monk.
