The draft made the dreams of three prospects come true, and the Charlotte Hornets had a good day with two of their draft picks on Friday. During this media day, the Hornets also found out what numbers their rookies would be wearing.
When rookies get their numbers, it’s always been an exciting thing to watch for following the draft. Following this draft, the Hornets will be seeing two of their rookies wearing two familiar numbers.
PJ Washington decided to go with #25 for his jersey, and many fans will recognize this number. This number was worn by Hornets’ big man Al Jefferson from 2014-2016.
