Marc Stein of ESPN has reported that “the Knicks have made a four-year offer to Courtney Lee, but Lee has a variety of suitors and is working through the options.” Lee has been linked to the Philadelphia 76ers, the Sacramento Kings, the Brooklyn Nets, and the Minnesota Timberwolves. It is unclear if the Charlotte Hornets are interested in bringing him back.
The Hornets have not been linked to Lee even though he played for them this past season. Head coach, Steve Clifford, is a big fan of Courtney but there has been no indication that the team has offered him a deal to re-sign.
