The Hornets have already lost in Atlanta once this year. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again. The Hawks have been not terrible in recent weeks, so this is no gimme game.
Side note: This is the second game of a seven game home stand for the Hawks that spans the All Star break. They won’t have to travel for a basketball game for three entire weeks. They’re at the beginning of a 16 game stretch that contains 13 home games. I guess that’s what happens when you get kicked out of your city for two weeks so the Super Bowl can come to town.
