August 8, 2016 – The Charlotte Hornets today announced their seven-game 2016-17 preseason schedule, which is highlighted by the previously-announced contest against the Boston Celtics in Greensboro, N.C., the home of the team’s new NBA D-League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm. The Hornets will also host two home games at Time Warner Cable Arena in the preseason, one against the Minnesota Timberwolves and one against the Chicago Bulls.
