Charlotte Hornets: 3 standouts from reality check loss to Miami

I typically try not to judge too harshly when it comes to preseason games, but I do think it’s safe to say that the Charlotte Hornets are in for a long campaign in 2019-20. The empty seats from last game may be a sign as well.

After hanging with the tough Celtics in Boston on Sunday in what ended up being a one-point loss, the Hornets were routed by the Heat last night with a final score of 108-94. It was a struggle from beginning to end for the team, leading by just three early in the first quarter and eventually being down by as much as 33 points.
