The new decade has not treated the Charlotte Hornets well so far, as they currently sit with a record of 15-29, good for 11th place in the Eastern Conference standings. They are, however, riding a season long six-game losing streak.
They’re slipping, and the only positive thing that can come out of that is an increased odds at a top draft choice. Prior to the start of the season, we figured that this would be a rebuilding team focusing on development and building through the draft.
They started out surprising many around the league, but as of late, they are looking like the Charlotte Hornets that most of us expected.
