Cade Cunningham returned for the Detroit Pistons on Friday and led the team to an NBA Cup tournament win over the Indiana Pacers.
Cunningham's return was short-lived, though, as he was a late scratch at home Saturday night against the Philadelphia 76ers with a left sacroiliac joint sprain, which he suffered late in the fourth quarter of last week's road loss to the Charlotte Hornets following a hard fall onto his back.

The Pistons have a two-day break until their next game — an East Group B finale against the Milwaukee Bucks — giving Cunningham additional time to rest ahead of their final NBA Cup game.
