Buzz City Beat: Charlotte Hornets Targeted Plumlee for a While, Sessions Knee Injury

After two days rest, the Charlotte Hornets will take on the Utah Jazz as they close out their three-game road trip out west. In this edition of Buzz City Beat, we look at the team having interest in Miles Plumlee for some time, Ramon Sessions‘ serious knee injury, and Kemba Walker being the first New York City point guard to make the All-Star Game since 2003.

“Miles Plumlee had a clue he was headed back to the state where he played high school and college basketball. “I knew that there had been some talks for a week or two, but I had no idea that it was actually going to happen this soon,” Plumlee said Friday of the trade that sent him from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Charlotte Hornets.
