Back to the Charlotte Hornets Newsfeed

At The Hive's 2016 NBA Draft open thread

While this year's draft doesn't have quite the hype of years past thanks to the Charlotte Hornets making the playoffs, there are still a lot of questions surrounding the team and how it plans to use the 22nd pick in the draft — if they decide to use it at all.

Earlier today, the Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Hornets are shopping their pick and one of Jeremy Lamb or Spencer Hawes to clear cap room. This makes sense, as the Hornets don't have the cap space to re-sign all of their free agents, especially if they decide to offer a max deal to Nicolas Batum or Dwight Howard.
