Al Jefferson Practices For the Charlotte Hornets After Missing Six Games

This is a huge step forward for the Charlotte Hornets’ big man, who has missed the last six games with a left calf strain. It was projected that Big Al would be out for a total of two to three weeks when the injury first occurred.

Jefferson participated in practice for the first time on Monday and will be reevaluated on Tuesday. It is unclear how close to returning Al is but it is a positive sign that he is practicing.

Al Jefferson injured his left calf in the first quarter of the Charlotte Hornets game against the Milwaukee Bucks seven games ago and is finally starting his journey to returning.
