DALLAS – Charlotte 49ers sophomore guard Jahmir Young was named First Team All-Conference USA, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Young ranks fourth in Conference USA in scoring with a team-leading 18.0 points per game. This season, he has scored in double-figures 23 times, including 11 20-point-scoring games.
On January 29, in the 49ers' victory over FIU, he recorded his first career double-double with 25 points and ten rebounds. He is second on the team in rebounding, averaging five boards per game while grabbing at least five rebounds in 13 games this year.
