CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball erased a 4-0 deficit before #15 Clemson posted four late runs to claim an 8-4 victory at BB&T Ballpark on Tuesday night. The Tigers take the season-series after their 7-6 win back on February 18th coupled with Tuesday's win in Uptown Charlotte.
"We came up a little bit short tonight," began Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "I thought we did a good job of managing the game for six or seven innings, but didn't quite capitalize the way we needed to. At this level of play, the margin of error is very thin.
