BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Charlotte 49ers (27-11, 11-5 C-USA) split their doubleheader against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (19-11, 3-5 C-USA) by scores of 3-2 and 3-6. After hitting two doubles in game one of the doubleheader, the 49ers are now one double away from tying the school record of 79, set back in 2008.

Charlotte went up 2-1 in the series after beating the Hilltoppers by a score of 3-2. The 49ers started the scoring with a two-run, third inning.
