CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte assistant women's basketball coach Tanisha Wright is back in familiar territory for her 14th WNBA season. She returned to the New York Liberty via a trade this offseason and will be a member of the squad in Friday's season opener against the Indiana Fever.
The two franchises will meet inside the Liberty's home arena, Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York, for an 8 p.m. tip live on NBA TV and the YES Network.
Wright previously played for New York from 2015-16, after debuting with the Seattle Storm from 2005-14.
