BLACKSBURG, Va. – Day two of action from the Hokie Invitational brought more success for the Charlotte men's and women's track and field programs. Jayon Woodard ran to victory in the men's 400m and the men's 4x400m relay team earned a win on Saturday at the Rector Field House from Virginia Tech.
For the duration of the Hokie Invitational, Charlotte had 26 Niners set new personal records, 17 of which are now in the program's top-10 all-time performances. The 49ers also broke two school records in the men's weight throw and the men's 1,000m and had two event winners in the men's 400m and 4x400m relay.
