CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A quick turnaround from the start of preseason training will test the Charlotte women's soccer team, as it plays host to Georgia State in exhibition action Monday. The 49ers welcome Georgia State to Transamerica Field for a 7 p.m. kick.
The program returned to the practice fields only a few days ago, on Thursday morning, allowing for a tight window of preparation before taking to the pitch in live action against another opponent.
John Cullen's squad features six returning starters and 16 letterwinners from last year's Conference USA Championships title-winning team.
