CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A two-year process of announcing the program, hiring coaches and recruiting players will all come to fruition when the Charlotte women's golf program tees off in the Mason Rudolph Championship on Friday.
"It's finally here," began Head Coach Holly Clark. "We are so excited to start competing. This has been a long time coming. Three weeks ago, we came together as a team and now we get to compete in our first event. This is a very exciting time in our program's history."
The 49ers will send Ashley Fowler, Ellinor Sudow, Jillian Farrell, Siarra Stout and Madison Barnett to compete a part of the five-player team.
