CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Led by Jillian Farrell's one-over round of 73, the Charlotte 49ers women's golf teams holds on to their tie for 13th after round two of the Ruth's Chris Invitational hosted by UNC. Charlotte is in a two-way tie with Michigan, just two shots behind N.C. State and nine behind Michigan State and North Carolina in the top-10.
Farrell opened her afternoon with a bogey on the 10th going off the back nine making the turn at two-over after a bogey on 16. After seven pars on the back, Farrell started the front with seven-straight pars before a birdie two on her 17th hole of the day dropped her to her 73.
