FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Charlotte 49ers women's golf team capped off their inaugural season with a ninth place finish in the Conference USA Championship on Wednesday afternoon. The 49ers shot 310-303-298-911 for the three-day tournament. Charlotte knocked shots off in each of their three rounds while their final round of 298 became the third-best team round of the season.
Ellinor Sudow led the team for the weekend, finishing tied for 11th in the 60-player field. Sudow would par her opening hole on 10, followed by a bogey on 11. One-over on 15, Sudow would birdie, but shoot a double on 16 going two-over heading to the front.
