CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte women's basketball program has finalized its 2016-17 non-conference slate with the addition of a home contest, Dec. 11, against Longwood. The game will mark the fifth non-conference contest among the 14 overall to be played during regular-season play inside Halton Arena.
The matchup will mark the first time the two programs have met on the hardwood.
The 49ers, however, have already have another Big South opponent on this year's schedule, Presbyterian, at home Nov. 20. By meeting the Lancers, Charlotte will complete a round of at least one game played against each member of the Big South in the program's history.
