CULVER CITY, Calif. – Charlotte women's soccer tri-captain Martha Thomas continues to add awards to her mantle this week, as she was tabbed to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week for Oct. 4. The plaudit comes on the heels of her being recognized as the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week Monday.
The Weston, Florida, product tallied four goals over the weekend, as the Niners split home matches with UTEP and UTSA. She opened the weekend with two goals on four shots, all on goal, against the Miners Friday night. Her other two non-scoring attempts were both solid looks as she nearly posted her first career hat trick.
