Weekend split features home Saturday; road SEC Sunday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte women's tennis team will take its five-match win streak into a pair of matches this weekend as it returns to the courts for the first time in over a week. The 49ers will open the stretch by playing host to former Atlantic 10 rival Rhode Island at Noon Saturday for a Blackout match before hitting the road to square off against No. 21 South Carolina out of the SEC at 3 p.m. Sunday.

"We are looking forward to our inaugural blackout match at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex Saturday," head coach Michaela Gorman said.
