Webster shares first C-USA Player of the Week honor

IRVING, Texas – Charlotte senior guard Lefty Webster has been named as a co-recipient of the Conference USA Player of the Week award for Nov. 14, as announced by the league office Monday. Webster shares the accolade with Marshall's Shayna Gore.

The Norfolk, Virginia, native and Preseason All-Conference USA Team selection garnered her first career honor after starting the campaign off on a strong note, helping the 49ers to a 2-0 record, including a win over Big Ten foe Wisconsin. She averaged a double-double of 14.5 points and 10.0 rebounds.

Webster poured in a game-high tying 16 points on 5-of-11 field goals, including 3-of-4 3-pointers, and 3-of-4 free throws against the Badgers.
