IRVING, Texas – After putting together a solid week in leading the Charlotte women’s basketball team to a pair of league wins, junior guard Lefty Webster was selected to the Conference USA Honor Roll for Feb. 22. She becomes the third 49ers player to receive the Honor Roll mention this season, which is presented to the runner-up of the weekly player of the week voting.
Webster’s week was highlighted by a season-best 24 point effort in Thursday’s 87-77 win over Marshall, giving her exactly 1,000 career points. She became the 22nd player in program history to reach the milestone and only the 10th to accomplish the feat in three seasons or less.
